4 Cooking apples
2 tbsp. unsalted butter or margarine
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Core apples and cut into about 8 wedges each; peel if desired. In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples and cook, shaking pan gently every now and then, about 5 minutes. Turn the apple wedges over, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and cook another few minutes, shaking pan and spooning juices over apples as they cook. Serve warm, either by themselves or over ice cream.
