1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 package chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Cream sugars and butter until fluffy. Add egg and beat. Add vanilla and beat. Add flour and other ingredients. Add oatmeal and chips and stir. Roll into walnut-sized balls. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
