2/3 c. ground nuts
1 2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. crisco
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 325F.
1. Cream together the crisco and butter; add sugar gradually and mix together.
2. Add nuts, flour and salt a little bit at a time until mixed together. Chill several hours or overnight.
3. Pinch off small portions from the dough and roll into sticks, 2" long. Form into a crescent shape.
4. Place crescents on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325F for 15 minutes. Carefully roll into confectioner's sugar while warm; these cookies are very delicate.
