8 eggs
2 lemons, juiced and grated
1 envelope gelatin
1 1/2 c. sugar
24 ladyfingers
whipping cream
sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs. Beat yokes and add 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice and grated rind. Cook in double boiler stirring until thickened. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup boiling water and cool. Add to custard. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in 1 cup of sugar. Fold into custard. Line sides and bottom of a springform pan with ladyfingers. Pour in mixture and refrigerate. Top with whipping cream and sliced almonds.
