5 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 c milk
1/2 c sugar
3-4 bananas
2 beaten egg yolks
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Whipping or heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a double boiler, add sugar, flour, salt and milk. Stir constantly until mixture is well thickened. Then cook 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Add yolks and cook 1 minute longer. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Slice bananas into baked pie shell or graham cracker pie shell. Pour mixture over bananas and chill. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream.
