Lemon Squares Recipe

2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar


4 eggs
2 c. sugar
6 T. lemon juice
grated lemon rind
4T. flour


2 tsp. powdered sugar

Crust: Blend flour, butter and powdered sugar with a fork. Press with fingers into a 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Filling: Beat eggs, sugar, lemon juice, rind, sugar and flour together. Pour over hot crust. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Don't overbake. Garnish with powdered sugar. Let cool completely and loosen from the side. Cut into squares.
