2 Tbsp margarine or butter
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 to 2 minced garlic cloves
3 cups chopped fresh white mushrooms
1 250 g pkg of cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 tsp dill seed
pepper, heavy sprinkle
1 1/2 cups grated monterey jack with jalapeno cheese
1/2 cup mayo
sliced fresh mushrooms, for garnish
chopped chives, for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine in a large frying pan on medium heat. Add onion, garlic and chopped mushrooms. Cook for about 10 minutes until liquid is evaporated and mushrooms are golden. Remove from heat. Add next 4 ingredients. Stir until cream cheese is melted. Add cheese and mayo. Mix well. Spread in ungreased 9 inch pie plate or shallow casserole. Bake in 350'F oven for about 30 minutes until heated through. Do what you can to garnish (sprinkle with sliced mushrooms and chives) as this is not the prettiest dish but very taste! Serve with fresh veggies, assorted crackers and bread sticks.
