1 cup sugar and
2 sticks butter or margarine.
3 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsps. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. almond flavoring.
Pinch salt

Topping
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsps. butter (margarine)
3/4 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter or margarine.
Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, almond flavoring and a pinch salt. Add half of batter to spring form or 10" tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 topping mixture over it.

Topping
Cream the brown sugar, cinnamon, butter (margarine), and chopped pecans until well blended and sprinkle with remaining topping mixture. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
