1 pkg (4 serving size) banana cream or vanilla - cook and serve pudding
2 1/2c milk
2 egg yolks, well beaten
30-35 vanilla wafers
2 large bananas, sliced
2 egg whites
dash salt
1/4c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, stir pudding mix into milk. Add egg yolks. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Arrange a layer of wafers on bottom and sides of a 1 1/2 qt baking dish. Add a layer of banana slices. Top with 1/3 of pudding. Repeat layers twice, ending with pudding. Beat egg whites and salt with electric mixer on high speed until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Spread meringue mixture lightly onto pudding, spreading to edge of dish to seal. Bake 10-15 minutes or until meringue is lightly browned at 350. Serve warm or refrigerate until ready to serve.
