2 1/2 C. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1- 6 oz. can evaporated milk
3/4 C. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients. Cut shortening into flour mixture. Beat together the egg and the milk. Add egg-milk mixture to flour mixture. Roll out and cut the size of a saucer. Fill with fruit. Fold over into half moon and use pastry brush to brush edges with cream. Seal edges.
Fry in skillet with Crisco until brown. Then bake 15 min. in a 350 oven.
