Egg whites 3 beaten stiff
Icing Sugar 1 lb
Lemon - juice from 1/2 a lemon
Cold water 3 tbsp.
Almond flavouring 1 tsp.

Directions:
Must use an electric mixer. For a soft icing add 1/2 cup of Crisco. In hot or humid weather omit the Crisco. HINT: to make even scallops on sides of cake, mark with tumbler while icing is soft.
