Flour 5 c
Salt 1 tsp.
Sugar 1 tsp.
Lard 1 lb.

Directions:
Directions:
Cut lard into dry ingredients with a pastry blender until resembles course crumbs. Then begin adding cold water while pushing crumbs together with finger tips. Add only enough to make a pliable ball of dough. How much will depend on the temperature of the lard and how finely it is cut. Pastry is flakier if not rolled too thin.
