2 C. sugar
1 C. Margerine or butter
2 C. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. groumd cloves
1 tsp. allspice
4 C. flour
1 box raisins
2 C. Jam
2 eggs

Cream sugar and butter together. Beat in eggs one at a time, then buttermilk. Sift flour, salt, baking soda and spices. Addtomixture, mix well. Add raisins that have been coated with flour. Mix well and pour into your choice of baking pans. Bake 350 for 45 mins. to 1 hr. Frost with carmel icing after it has cooled.
