Shortening 1/2 c
White Sugar 1/2 c
Brown Sugar 1/4 c (firmly packed)
Egg 1
Flour 1 c
Salt 1/2 tsp.
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp.
Vanilla 1 tsp
Chocolate chips 1 package
Chopped nuts 1/2 c

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening with both the sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Mix all dry ingredients together and add to mixture. Add chips and nuts. Drop about 2 inches apart on a greased or non stick cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
