1/4 c. soft butter
1/4 tsp. ground mace
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 to 3 c. sifted confectionery sugar
1 1/2 T. milk
1 egg, separated

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, mace, and vanilla. Blend in 1 c. sugar, egg yolk and milk. Beat until fluffy. In a separate bowl, beat egg white until it stands in peaks. Gradually beat in remaining sugar and fold into butter, sugar mixture.
