1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 med. clove garlic, minced or pressed
2 cans (7 oz.) or 2 c. Ortega Green Chili Salsa
1 17 oz. can Ortega Lightly Spiced Refried Beans
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Brown beef until crumbly. Drain, add onion & garlic. Cook until onion is translucent. Add remaining ingredients. Cook until hot & bubbly. Spoon into a chafing dish. Serve w/tortilla chips.

This is another recipe I received from my Yellowstone friend, Sue and her parents, the O'Boyles. We loved "Happy Hour" with different appetizers every Friday night. I lived w/them in San Diego and they treated me like one of their daughters.
