Crush 16 oz Oreo cookies, add 1/3 cup melted margarine. Mix and press into 9X13 pan & freeze. Mix gallon vanilla ice cream with peppermint flavoring & red food color (enough to make pink). Spread over cookies & freeze. Make the following sauce:
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
cup margarine
1 cup sugar
tsp salt
1 can evaporated milk

Cook sauce ingredients until thickened, add 1 tsp vanilla. Cool. Pour over ice cream & freeze. Spread large carton cool whip on top, cover with nuts & store in freezer.
