1 head lettuce, cut up
1 box frozen peas, thawed (or slightly cooked)
2 Tbs onions (optional)
1 can sliced chestnuts, drained
2 cups cheddar cheese
4-6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
6-8 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled

Dressing: 1 cup Miracle Whip mixed with 2 Tbs sugar

Layer lettuce, peas, onions, chestnuts, & cheese in glass dish.
Spread dressing over top.
Cover with hard boiled eggs and bacon
Refrigerate overnight.
