2 c. milk
2 c. cream
2 c. sugar
1 lemon rind, grated
Juice of 4 lemons (3/4 c. lemon juice)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the milk and cream and mix in the sugar, stirring until it dissolves. Using a wire whisk, very slowly stir the lemon juice into the cream mixture. Freeze the mixture for about 10 minutes, then add grated lemon rind. Continue freezing until the ice cream is ready.

Double for 1 gallon.

Note: Be sure to add the lemon juice slowly.... and stir vigorously.
