1 1/4 c. applesauce
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. cooking oil
3 T. milk
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Topping: 1/4 c. chopped pecans, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs, and milk. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. Stir dry ingredients into applesauce mixture and beat well. Fold in nuts. Pour into well-greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Combine ingredients for topping and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
