1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. (2 cubes) butter
1 1/2 c. peanut butter, divided
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. quick-cooking oats

1/2 c. (1 cube) butter
1/3 c. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar (3 cups)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
evaporated (canned) milk

Cream sugars and margarine together. Add 1/2 c. peanut butter. Add eggs and vanilla and stir until smooth. Add remaining dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Place into a large, greased roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. While still hot put spoonfuls of the remaining 1 c. peanut butter on the bars, then spread evenly with a spatula. Let cool. To prepare frosting bring the butter and cocoa to a boil, then let cool. With a hand mixer beat the chocolate mixture, powdered sugar, and a little canned milk together until the desired consistency is achieved. Add vanilla. Spread frosting over bars.
