2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2-3 bananas
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 stick butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. whipping cream, whipped
1 c. nuts ( chopped) I never would use nuts :)

Cover 9 x 13" pan with 1 c. crumbs. Slice bananas (long way). Lay over crumbs Slice ice cream in 1/2 inch slices and lay over bananas. Sprinkle nuts, if you wish, over ice cream. Freeze.

Melt chocolate chips and butter. Add powdered sugar and evaporated milk. Cook till thick and smooth- stirring constantly- it takes awhile. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool... Pour over ice cream. Freeze till firm. Spread with sweetened whip cream. Sprinkle with remaining graham cracker crumbs. ( I do not add the whipped cream till serving time as I think the cream gets a freezer taste.) Cover well.
