12 bananas, sliced thick.
1 cup flaked coconut.
1 tsp. cinnamon.
1/2 tsp. salt.
1 cup dark corn syrup.
2/3 cup butter, melted.
2 tsp. grated lemon peel.
2 tsp. lemon juice.
2 tsp. rum.
1 pound cake, sliced.
1 quart vanilla ice cream (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine bananas and coconut in a crock-pot slow cooker. In a medium bowl, stir together cinnamon, salt, corn syrup, butter, lemon zest, lemon juice and rum; pour over bananas. Cover and cook on low for 1 to 2 hours.

Pour warm sauce over pound cake slices topped with ice cream and enjoy!
