"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Crescent Roll Cream Cheese, by Dorothy Layner, is from Andrea & John's Wedding Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Preheat oven to 350º. Unroll 1 package of crescent rolls and line bottom of 9x13 pan, pinching seams together. Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla until whipped. Pour over dough. Place other package of rolls over cream cheese mixture. Melt margarine and pour over dough. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon over melted margarine. Bake for 30 minutes.
