"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste
This recipe for Ice Cream Sandwich Cake, by Matt Wittine, is from Andrea & John's Wedding Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 1/2 boxes ice cream sandwiches 1 jar of butterscotch 1 jar of caramel 1 regular container cool whip
In a bowl mix whole jar of butterscotch and whole jar of caramel together. Line a 9x13 pan with ice cream sandwiches. Put the entire mixture of butterscotch and caramel on top. Then top the whole thing off with the container of cool whip. Place in freezer until it's firm. Enjoy!
