9 in. Baked pie shell
1 1/2 qt. Fresh strawberries
1 c. Sugar
3 tbsp. Corn starch
1/2 c. Water

Directions:
Directions:
Hull wash and drain berries thoroughly. Crush enough to make 1 c. Combine sugar, corn starch, water and crushed berries. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low and continue to stir until mixture is thickened and translucent. Set aside to cool. Place whole berries in pre-baked pie shell. Pour cooled mixture over the top evenly. Chill at least 2 hours. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
