1/2 cup shortening
1/2 margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
3 cups oats

Directions:

Roll into balls, press with with a fork.
Bake at 375 degrees
