2 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup Contadina Italian Style Bread Crumbs
1 can (8 oz.) Contadina Tomato Sauce
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 egg
1 teaspoon basil, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bombine meat, bread crumbs, 3/4 cup tomato sauce, onion, green pepper, egg and basil in large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, if desired, then mix well.
2. Press into 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 60 minutes. Drain.
3. Spoon remaining tomato sauce over meat loaf. Bake 10 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. OPTIONAL: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
