1 c. unsalted boiling water 1 1/2 c. quick cooking grits 3 eggs, beaten 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese 3/4 c. butter 2 tsp. salt hot pepper sauce to taste garnish of paprika
Cook grits in water according to package directions. Remove from heat and add all other ingredients. Mix well. Bake in a greased 2-quart baking dish, uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour. Make sure the top is golden brown!
