8 lbs spareribs
2 pcs ginger, crushed
2 pcs garlic, crushed
1 tsp msg (Ajinomoto)
16oz pineapple (reserve juice)
1 box brown sugar
1-3/4 cups vinegar
3/4 cup shoyu
2 tbsp oyster sauce
Cornstarch - to thicken using juice from pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Put ribs with 1 pcs ginger and 1 pcs garlic in enough water to cover.
Bring to a boil. Rinse ribs and pull off loose fat.
Wash and pat clean and put ribs back with 3/4 cup water.
Cook on medium heat for about 1/2 to 3/4 hour with ginger and garlic. Add remaining ingredients except pineapple and cornstarch.
Cook till tender. Add cornstarch to thicken. Add pineapple last.
