1 16 oz. pkg dried red beans
1 pound beef smoked sausage, sliced
1 ham slice, cubed
1 small onion, diced
2 1/2 to 3 cups water
1 tsp. Mexican (adobo) seasoning with pepper
1/8 tsp ground red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight; rinse well and drain--Place beans in slow cooker add sausage, ham, onions and water---2 1/2 c. if on LOW--3 c. on HIGH--Add seasonings---Cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours, or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours---serve over white cooked rice
