2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4/ c. crushed pineapple (drained, reserve liquid)
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and soda----Work shortening until soft--add brown sugar gradually and keep working until mixture is creamy---Beat in eggs vigorously--add drained pineapple and vanilla--Stir in flour combination--Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet-Bake-Cool-Glaze----2 tbsp. pineapple juice to 1 c. powdered sugar--Stir until smooth and glaze cookies---
