1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 t. pepper
2 t. a-1 steak sauce
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 egg
2 T. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sliced onion
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
2 T. flour
1 t. ketchup
1 can condensed beef broth
1 c. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F. Mix beef, pepper, sauce crumbs and egg. Form into 12 meatballs. Bake on a broiler pan or cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes or saute until browned. Remove to a bowl or plate.
To make sauce, melt butter in a large skillet. Add mushrooms and onion and saute about 5 minutes. Stir in flour and ketchup. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Add beef balls and any juice and simmer covered 10-15 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and gently heat over low heat.
Serve over egg noodles.
