5 pts. fresh strawberries, sliced
2 cooked pie crusts
fresh whipped cream

Glaze:
2/3 c. water
1 c. chopped strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1/3 c. cold water
2 T. butter
1-2 drops red food coloring (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
To prepare glaze bring 2/3 c. water and chopped berries to a boil and cook 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Mix together the sugar, constarch and 1/3 c. cold water. Pour cold mixture into hot mixture and add butter and food coloring. Stir until thickened. Stir in fresh sliced berries and divide into 2 cooked pie crusts. Serve with a dollop of fresh whipped cream.
