1 Cup Wheat Berries - cracked wheat 3 Cup Water 1/2 tsp. Salt 4 Medium potatoes 1 Onion, Chopped 1 Chopped Carrot 5 T. Oil 1/3 C. Whole Wheat Flour 2 tsp. parsley 1/2 tsp. Basil
Cook and mash potatoes. Cook Wheat Berries and save liquid. Saute onions and carrot. Heat oil, stir in flour, add 1 1/2 Cup wheat liquid stirring constantly, add spices. Preheat oven 350* F. Butter 2 1/2 Quart Casserole, layer onions/carrot, potatoes and sauce. Top with potatoes. Bake 30 Minutes.
