Blend together:
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg


Blend together:
1-1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Add mixtures together. Form walnut sized balls and flatten with fork. Place on greased cookie sheet three inches apart. Bake for 12 minutes. Yield: 3 dozen.
