3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup mashed bananas
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together except chocolate chips. Add chocolate chips to the banana bread batter and mix well. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan. Cover loosely with a tent of aluminum foil. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool banana bread completely before slicing.
