Ham and Broccoli Quiche Recipe

1 1/2 c. fully cooked ham, diced
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
1 c. steamed broccoli, chopped
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. half-and-half
1/2 tsp.salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
pie crust
2 tbsp. butter

Place pie crust in pie plate and prick several times with fork. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes. While pie crust is baking, saute ham and onion in butter until onion is translucent. Layer the ham, onions, and broccoli in pie crust. Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over ham and vegetables. Bake at 350 until firm. Cool slightly before serving.
