2 lbs. ground beef or chuck
1 onion, chopped
1 30-32oz. can of tomato sauce
1 T. of chili powder
2 pkgs. taco seasoning
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 can whole kernel corn (including liquid)
4 cups cooked rice
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
4 slices bacon (partially cooked)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Brown hamburger w/ onion in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat until very little pink remains. Add tomato sauce, corn, chili powder, taco seasoning, pepper & garlic powder and heat until mixture begins to simmer. Stir in cooked rice. Pour into 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover casserole w/ cheese and lay bacon over all. Cover the casserole for first 15 minutes then uncover & bake 15 more minutes. Or until cheese is melted and heated thoroughly.

Excellent casserole. Good to serve to kids w/ tortilla chips crushed on bottom.
