1-2 heads cabbage, chopped fine
5 green onions, chopped
1/3 c. butter
½ c. sunflower seeds, shelled
½ c. slivered almonds
2 pkgs. oriental-style Ramen noodles, smashed

Dressing:
1 c. salad oil
1 T. soy sauce
½ c. vinegar
½ c. sugar
1 pkg. Ramen noodles seasoning mix

Directions:

Salad:
Prepare cabbage and onions. Combine in a large bowl. In a frying pan, melt butter. Brown seeds, almonds and noodles. Saute mixture until noodles are golden brown, watching them carefully so they don’t burn. Add noodles and nuts to cabbage mixture.
Dressing:
In a glass jar with a lid, combine oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and seasoning mix. Cover jar and shake well.
