Directions:
Saute 1/2 cup onions and 1/2 cup green peppers in butter; add tomato soup and brown sugar; let simmer. This sauce will turn reddish-brows. Mix together beef, 1/2 cup onion, 1/2 cup green pepper, bread crumbs, and cheese. Broil on cookie sheet; drain off grease. Put meatballs in sauce. Let simmer for 3 hours. These are great served over mashed potatoes or rice.

Personal Notes:
I like to make these ahead and freeze them before guest is coming. Just take them out of the freezer and refrigerate them the day before needed.
