1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
c. sugar
2 T. cocoa
c. milk
2 T. melted shortening
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. brown sugar
4 T. cocoa
1 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and 2 T. cocoa. Stir in milk and shortening. Blend in chopped nuts. Spread in a 9 pan.

Mix brown sugar and 4 T. cocoa and sprinkle over what is in the pan. Pour hot water over the batter.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cake will rise to top and pudding will be on the bottom.
