16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 jar dried beef, chopped
dash of tobasco
1 tsp grated onion
1/4 tsp garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Sprinkle garlic salt on chopped pecans and bake 5 minutes at 350 F. Mix with the rest of the ingredients and form into ball. Serve with crackers.

In Africa I use 1/4 cup slivered soft biltong (beef jerky) in place of the dried beef. I also roll the finished ball either in crushed pecans or more of the slivered biltong.
