1/2 c. crisco
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed in measuring cup
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda,
1 tsp. salt,
1 cup oatmeal ( uncooked)

Mix altogether. Roll into small balls, flatten with a fork. Bake 10 mins at 400

This recipe I got from Mom. They are one of my favorites even though I never liked nuts till a few years ago. I used to make these for Pop for Father's Day when I couldn't afford a gift. He loved them.
