1 (12 in.) loaf French bread
1 (4 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 - 1/2 C. strawberries, chopped
1/4 - 1/2 C. banana, chopped
2 T strawberry jam
6 eggs. lightly beaten
3/4 C. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cut French bread into 8-1 1/2 in slices. Make a pocket in each slice by cutting slit from top of bread almost to the bottom. Combine cream cheese, strawberries, banana and strawberry jam in a small bowl to make filling. Place a heaping tablespoon of filling into each pocket and press back together. Beat eggs and milk in shallow bowl. Add bread and let stand to coat. Turn of coat both sides. Brown both sides in a large skillet or griddle. Serve with strawberry syrup.
