6 egg whites at room temperature
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
2 c. sugar (1/3 c. sugar to 1 egg white)

Directions:
Directions:
Add salt, cream of tartar, vanilla and vinegar to egg whites and beat at high speed until mixture forms peaks (stiff but not dry). Turn down to low speed and add sugar a tablespoon at a time until thoroughly mixed. Drop mixture by tablespoon (swirled) on cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Bake at 250 for one hour.

Great with strawberries or ice cream.
