1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
3 Tbs. peanut butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

FROSTING:
2 Tbs. shortening
1 Tbs. Butter
1 sq. baking chocolate
1/4 c. milk
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening and peanut butter. Sift flour, soda and salt and add to creamed mixture. Batter will be very thick. Press into an ungreased 9 x 12" pan. Bake at 350 about 25 minutes. Cool and frost.

FROSTING:
Heat all ingredients except powdered sugar until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar until thick. Frost cooled cake and cut into bars.
