4 cans cut green beans ( Blue Lake if you can find them)
1 lb. bacon, drain off fat
1 chopped onion
1 1/3 c. Miracle Whip
1/3 c. sugar
1/4-to 1/3 c. vinegar, I always use cider vinegar because that is what mom used :)

Fry the bacon, chop the onions and mix in a small bowl with the Miracle Whip, sugar and vinegar. Put the four cans of beans in a saucepan and heat. When beans are hot, DRAIN. Add the chopped ingredients and sauce. Serve immediately.

People really love this. It will serve 6-8. I also got this from Helen Wafler. She was a wonderful cook.. I am not sure about 8. Depends on the people- aren't I a big help ! !
