1 - 2lb Bag of shredded or chunk style frozen potatoes.
1 stick butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 16oz carton sour cream
1 tsp onion powder or can use fresh onion to taste
12 - 16oz bag of grated shredded cheddar cheese.
Salt and pepper to taste.

In large bowl, melt butter in microwave. Stir in soup, sour cream, cheese and spices. Then add frozen potatoes. Put in 9 x 13 pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 uncovered until golden and bubbly. Approximately 1 hour.
