1 1/3 c. plus 3 T. sifted flour, divided
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans
2 eggs
3/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Sift 1 1/3 c. flour with baking powder. Cream butter with 1/2 c. brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients. Mix until particles are fine, stir in 1/4 finely chopped pecans. Press firmly into bottom of well greased 9 x 13" pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Beat eggs until foamy; add corn syrup, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 3 T. flour, salt and vanilla. Pour over partially baked crust. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut in bars.
